Your system will only update when there is a newer version of data available. Therefore, it is recommended that your computer be left on every night. Alternately, you may leave the computer running overnight when you receive an email notice that an update is available.

Automatic Update Notes and Requirements:

• The computer that has been activated for the Automatic Update feature must have an internet connection and be left running overnight.
• Only 1 computer needs to have the Automatic Update feature enabled if FSC Rater is installed over a network.
• Shut down FSC Rater on every computer in the office. The Automatic Update feature will not work if FSC Rater is open.

Reminder: You need to ensure that the update was successful. Rate discrepancies due to the failure of the Auto Update feature will not be covered under the FSC Personal Lines Rate Guarantee.
